BLUE APPLE MENUS
WITH APPLE-OMB!
|
The fresh, new, High Street look has been implemented
across the communications materials in
three of our units. The feedback so far
from these test units (Aspect, Bourne
and easyJet) has been fantastic. The stationery
is bright, clear, stylish and impactful,
and the pre-designed Microsoft Word templates
make customising menus, price lists, information
cards and weekly promotional offers easy
- the finished result is slick and professional.
With the new look and feel deemed
a success, the new stationery is now open
to all units, so why not place your order
today? To order stationery, acrylic point
of sale display (POS) and signage items,
contact Liz or Verity (0118 972 3333 blueapple@intuitive-marketing.co.uk)
Another new marketing activity is the
monthly 'specials' promotion. Posters
of June's promotion (themed around Wimbledon)
have been distributed to most units and
are a bright, colourful way of enticing
and exciting each units' customers. Next
month's America-themed 4th July special
will offer a hot dog, a packet of Doritos
and a Pepsi, all for one special price
- a sure way of increasing footfall, reducing
subsidy and raising profits! |
BUSINESS LINK AUDIT
TO SUPPORT BLUE APPLE’S TRAINING NEEDS
|
To further its relationship with Blue Apple, Business
Link is assisting us with identifying
the training needs of our staff. Headed
up by Debbie Corless (Blue Apple’s Personnel
Manager), we will undergo a professionally
structured training review over the next
month to assist our team to get the best
possible training, appropriate to each
individual’s position within the business.
Initiatives connected with the training
plan enable our team to:
- Be more successful
- Deal with other people better
- Contribute more to the team
- Reduce stress
- Enjoy work more
- Get more out of life
We are sure all team members will find
the process a rewarding experience and
we'll keep you posted on the results in
future editions of A Byte From Blue Apple.

YO! SUSHI EVENT
|
Blue Apple has always taken a "High Street Approach"
to its catering and where better to learn
from than the High Street itself! Blue
Apple's Managers will be meeting at the
next ECA (European Caterers' Association)
event held at the County Hall in London
on Wednesday 7th July. Here, Simon Woodroffe
(the founder of the YO! empire and one
of the great entrepreneurs of our time)
presents an interactive tour of one of
the group's futuristic establishments
at County Hall. The evening will not only
give our Managers the opportunity to gain
insight into the remarkable mind of Simon
Woodroffe, but also a chance to sample
sushi from the YO! conveyor belt and observe
a sushi-making demonstration. We are sure
this may spark some interest in sushi
production within our own units - just
right for the coming summer months.
Following the presentation, tour and demo,
the team will be going for a 'flight'
on the London Eye. Described by British
Airways as 'The way the world sees London',
they say 'only by flying the Eye can you
experience the breathtaking panoramas
of London and beyond'. Hopefully the team
will bring us back some pictures, which
we'll include in the next 'Byte'. |
Look out for the next "A Byte From Blue
Apple", coming soon....
